Brook M. Poyer

Summer Associate

Brook is a rising 2L at The Catholic University, Columbus School of Law. Brook is especially interested in corporate transactional law, contract law, and labor law.

Prior to attending law school, Brook worked for The United States Tax Court in Washington, D.C. She assisted tax court petitioners from around the world by beginning their claims against the Internal Revenue Service, communicating with various tax court departments, and informing petitioners of tax court procedures. She also assisted in launching the new database, Dawson, which allowed petitions to be filed electronically for the first time in the court’s history.

Brook graduated from James Madison University with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Writing, Rhetorical and Technical Communication. In her spare time, Brook enjoys playing pickleball and running.
