Heather C. Huitt
Heather Huitt joined Jetlaw, LLC in 1997. She supports the firm’s complex aircraft transactions, including managing FAA document drafting and filing, identifying and solving complex aircraft title issues, managing International Registry user enrollment and filings, and coordinating aircraft closings. In addition to aircraft transactions, Heather oversees updates to the FARs Explained book series. She researches supporting materials such as FAA Legal Interpretations, Advisory Circulars and case law which explain the FAA’s regulations. She also works with clients to research and answer FAA regulatory questions about their aircraft operations.

Heather advances the firm’s mission to promote safety and education in the aviation industry. She actively participates with the firm on FAA Aviation Rulemaking Committees, NBAA’s Regulatory Industry Advisory Group, and industry safety events and forums. 

Heather is a commercial pilot and holds a master’s degree in Aviation Safety. She is also a former adjunct professor of aviation law for University of Central Missouri.
