Executive Assistant/Receptionist

Jetlaw, LLC is seeking applications for an Executive Assistant/Receptionist based in its Washington, DC office. A strong background in customer service is preferred.

This Executive Assistant/Receptionist will work alongside our Legal Assistant and must be able to work both independently and as a team. Duties will include:

  • Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the partners’ behalf
  • Managing the partners’ calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters
  • Answering phone calls in a polite and professional manner
  • Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary
  • Welcoming visitors and identifying the purpose of their visit before directing them to the appropriate office
  • Performing other administrative duties as they arise.  

The detail-oriented candidate should also possess the following qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Adobe programs, with basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Polished communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills
  • Have at least an associate’s degree
  • Be able to maintain the security of confidential information
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Applicants should have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar setting. Employment offers are contingent upon passing a complete background check and signing a non-disclosure agreement.

Spring/Summer/Fall 2022 Law Clerk

Jetlaw is seeking applications from 1Ls and 2Ls for a summer, full-time internship with the possibility of working in the office or remotely during the school year. The law clerk will assist attorneys in aviation transactions, research, tax planning, and updating a regulatory treatise. No prior aviation experience is required, but is an added bonus. This position will be primarily based in the DC office for the summer.
