The Federal Election Commission (FES) is revisiting its regulations to interpret and explain the Honest Leadership and Open Government Act of 2007. The new law can complicate putting a politician on your airplane as the rates and conditions under which a candidate may spend campaign funds for aircraft travel differ depending on the office sought.
