When Is a Pilot Too Old to Fly?

The issue of aging pilots will be addressed in the next few years, but it won’t be determined solely by the FAA. Because so many people think that Bob Hoover won the legal fight to have his FAA medical certificate reinstated, some pilots wrongly believe there is legal precedent to protect them from losing their medicals simply because they are old.
